A policy lab might capture policy levers and stakeholder ecosystems. A service redesign might hold journeys, user needs and prototypes. Most Labs work with assumptions, hypotheses, experiments, user research, system maps and the wider context that shapes what is possible. Underneath it all, an audit trail.

We use AI where it makes the work better and we leave it out where it does not. Built to support human judgement, not stand in for it. Model-agnostic by design, so we can switch providers as the field changes, without rebuilding what sits on top.
The Platform works with text, PDFs, audio, video and structured data. Tables stay as tables. Charts and images keep their shape, ready to find when you need them. Citations on every answer, source-checking before findings reach a decision.
The most damaging AI failures are the silent ones, where a recommendation is shaped in ways nobody can see or challenge. Our guardrails are designed to make the AI's contribution visible and traceable at every step, with human review on anything that influences a decision.

The Platform is built on infrastructure that holds up to public sector and enterprise scrutiny.
ISO 27001 and SOC 2 across the underlying stack. End-to-end encryption in transit and at rest. Secure authentication including SSO and multi-factor by default. Role-based permissions so the right people see the right work, with granular control over who can read, comment, edit and approve. The audit trail supports algorithmic transparency reporting, including the Algorithmic Transparency Recording Standard where relevant.
Each Lab's Platform is isolated. Your data does not train shared models, does not leak between engagements, does not leave the systems we have agreed with you. We build for the assurance posture your governance, procurement and IT teams need to sign off, and we work alongside them to get there.
The Platform is currently available only as part of a Lighthouse Lab. We are exploring how to make elements available standalone.
